Here is the line up for the Fall Puppeteers of Puget Sound Meeting! Hear festival reports, learn about upcoming events, see brief puppets performances and nibble on refreshments. If you have not sent an RSVP via email or text…please send to Jean (email@example.com) ASAP, as we need to know seating numbers. Reminder! We are looking for volunteers to run for office serving the Puppeteers of Puget Sound and Puppeteers of America. Throw your hat into the ring!

Puppeteers of America National Festival and O’Neill National Puppet Conference.
Milo Clark – Building “Squioctopus”, a giant puppets used in the festival parade.
Jenelle Weidlich– Video’s from the Video Anarchy strand at the O’Neill Conference.
Dustin Curtis – Contemporary Shadow Puppetry– a quick survey of different techniques and lights. – Report from National P of A Meeting.

Presenters, we have DVD and thumb drive capability for the meeting room. If you want to use media to support your report, that is the technology available.

SAVE THE DATE! Next meeting will center around the art of hand puppetry, featuring a performance by Mary Shaver.
Mary Shaver is an artist, master puppeteer, and educator who spent twenty-five years living in Asia and Europe Mary Shaver performs, lectures, and consults and starred for three years on the award-winning children’s television show “Pepe’s Magic Tales”. Instructional handout will be provided at the workshop/performance meeting.
